Lida Xu is a visual storyteller and bilingual artist working across animation, design, and interactive narrative. With an MFA in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a background in visual communication, she creates emotionally-driven work that combines thoughtful composition with layered narrative ideas.

Her creative language pulls from music, memory, and the everyday—a mix that shapes her work across formats, from short films to motion graphics to interactive fiction. Currently, she’s building a story-driven, text-based adventure game—an ongoing experiment using simple tools to create rich, expressive worlds.

Lida is both a detail-oriented maker and an easygoing collaborator. She loves creative brainstorming, believes in momentum over perfection, and finds joy in making ideas sharper through shared effort. Fluent in English and Mandarin, she brings a cross-cultural lens and warm, flexible energy to every project she joins.
